Updates to David Taylor's Software - 2023

This page lists the major changes made to my applications during 2023.

Please note that as I am now retired, I am more likely to release beta updates rather than "formal" updated versions - please look here and register for update notification!  You can register free of charge to get automatic e-mails when this page changes and I would urge you to take advantage of this free service.  For my satellite software, please join the SatSignal self-help user group.

Just as Microsoft has dropped support for Windows-7 and earlier, my software is no longer tested or supported in any version of Windows prior to Windows-10.  Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows are usually supported, and some programs can take advantage of the larger memory space available with 64-bit Windows.  My programs may continue to work in those earlier versions, but this is neither guaranteed nor supported.  Please update your Windows from XP, Vista, 7 or 8.

V4.1.0 - Set up/down text colour to blue for blue channel, prevent one variable not being initialised, more choice in the File, Open dialog, accept "Australian" MODIS file names.  Faster start-up, enter your licence key as User, not Administrator, you may need to request a new licence key.

If you wish, you can register for free, automatic e-mail notifications from the Watch That Page service when this page is updated.  This is convenient as you won't need to keep checking my Web site to see what has changed.  Click the button below to register for update notification.  You may need to register with WatchThatPage first.

I do also try and announce new releases on the various groups such as SatSignal, GEO-Subscribers and MSG-1, and you can on Twitter for the very latest news and discussions.
