Announcement channel lost messages - 2010 Jan 19-25

Two changes have been observed between the Announcement Channel messages lost up to 2010 Jan 21 and after.

• The number of lost messages has increased
• The distribution has become more concentrated between about 0600 and 1800 UTC

These changes have been seen on two PCs, in different locations.  Looking at the graphs below it seems that the message loss is not totally dissimilar on the two systems, as the block of losses between ~1600 and 1700 UTC on Jan 21 appears on both systems (PC Stamsund only has data fro Jan 21 in the earlier period), and the Jan-22 and after graphs look quite similar (except that the Stamsund graph has some Jan-25 data).
