Here is a plot of SNR and Signal Quality for 01 July 2009. There was heavy rain in the area, resulting in three signal loss periods, although not long enough to trigger the 45-second error restart timer on TelliCast.
EUMETCast signal drops - 2009 June 13 & 14
Here is a plot of SNR and Signal Quality for the days of 13, 14 & 15 June, 2009. On both days, there were thunderstorms and heavy rain in the area, resulting in two brief signal loss periods on the 13th (long enough to trigger the 45-second error restart timer on TelliCast), and a few seconds signal loss on the 14th.
Here are the plots from all four EUMETCast systems, taken just a little later than the plot above. Note how the V4.5.0 drivers report a much more quantised SNR and Signal Quality values.
