The HRPT Reader at Work
This scaled down and compressed screen shot shows the HRPT Reader producing a false-colour image from channels 2 (visible) and 4 (IR) of the NOAA-14 satellite. The data has been downloaded from the NOAA Satellite Active Archive. An approximate country and gridline overlay has been added automatically. Sea areas below a certain brightness threshold have been coloured blue for effect.
