The MarineGadget Radar in use in Leith, the port of Edinburgh, near the Royal
Yacht Britannia.
Yes, it was windy here even though it was a sunny April day, hence the gloves!
The grey USB stick is the receiver, and the "3" Mi-Fi device provides
an Internet connection.
You can see the improvised quarter-wave antenna - better if it was away from the
PC, of course.
COAA's ShipPlotter software
provided decoding of the MGR data, and shared data over the Internet.
Pity about the screen brightness! The CPU load was low, and a Netbook
would have sufficed.
